Over the last two weekends more raids were carried out. In Subang 10 illegal massage parlors were raided and the rooms were destroyed with 19 female masseurs taken in for questioning. MPSJ issued summons to the premises. Massage rooms must be opened (not enough ventilation??)

And in last Saturday afternoon – May 19 2007 more budget hotels in Jalan Petaling & Jalan Pudu were raided. 8 Indonesians girls, 3 pondans plus 10 local customers were detained while over at the Jalan Pudu hotel, 14 PRC girls were arrested with 1 Thai girl. Premises were raided two weeks ago and were told to cease operation.

Man hides under bed during vice raid

KUALA LUMPUR: Police found a foreigner hiding under a bed during an anti-vice and crime prevention operation in a building in Jalan Sultan here. The man, who was only wearing a pair of pants, was believed to have been a customer of one of the nine women in their 20's who were detained at the premises.

The team also detained nine other men aged between 30 and 70, believed to be the women's customers during yesterday's 2pm raid carried out by 30 men led by city anti-vice, gaming and secret societies department head Supt Mohd Zaki Masroh. He said the team took at least 30 minutes to break into the premises through the back door.

“We had to prise open the back door of the two-storey building after our knocks on the door went unheeded by those inside,'' he said when met after the operation. Supt Mohd Zaki said all those detained were taken to the city police headquarters for questioning and urine tests. The team also raided five other premises in the vicinity believed to have been used as brothels. However, the premises were empty and police believe that they must have left after learning about the first raid. Police believe that a syndicate offers sex services for foreigners in old and abandoned buildings here during the day to avoid detection.
