How easy we forget. Just 65 years ago, the Japanese came and attacked our country, killed our people and caused suffering to many millions of Malaysians. Now we are friends?
I find this kind of attitude archaic and outdated ...
Most of the japanese that committed the atrocities are dead n in fact most of the Japanese soldiers of that time didn't even have a choice of whether to serve in the army or not. Most are drafted. If you are born as a Japanese I dun think you have a choice as well..
Come to think abt it. We were colonized by the Portuguese, Dutch and English. Attacked by the Indonesians during the Ganyang Malaysia. Atrocities committed during the Communist Insurgency and many others.
What does this mean ? We need to be enemies with the Portuguese, Dutch and English ? Make them pay ? What abt the Indonesians ? Dun forget most of the Commonwealth soldiers then that defended Msia was from UK and Australia. What abt the communist insurgency ? Does tis mean the chinese now need to pay for whatever was committed then ?
