Businessman Datuk Nik Sapeia Nik Yusoff currently charged with inflicting harm on Dr Mahathir and 3 other people on Sunday sued the Police and Malaysia government charging them as having evil intentions and ruining his honor when handling the case.

The plaintiff sought a total of about RM10 mil in damages. Two writs were filed through his counsel Zainal Abidin Mustaffa at the Kota Bahru High court Registrar in the afternoon.

The Datuk named investigating officer ASP Baharin Mohd Noor, Kelantan Police Chief Dzulkifli Abdullah and the Malaysia government as the first, second and third defendant respectively. The plaintiff also alleged the defendants have made false statements, claiming that his business have suffered losses and tarnishing his reputation and credibility.

On Aug 9^th Datuk Nik Sepia pleaded not guilty to the charge of inflecting harm to the former premier last July 28^th 2006.
