KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was found half-naked with her throat slit at a cemetery in Jalan Kuari, Cheras, here yesterday. Her blouse was pulled above her breast and her underclothings clothings were removed.

The victim was identified as unemployed Vasandy Anmamally, 30, from Seri Petaling. A City Hall employee cleaning the compound of the Christian cemetery found the body among the tombstones at 7am.

City CID chief SAC II Ahmad Ibrahim (ABOVE)said there was a 24cm slit on the victim’s neck with her head almost severed.. "We believe the victim could have been raped before being killed."

A man knifed in front of a petrol station rushed into the Mesra Shop seeking assistance. But collapsed in a pool of Blood in front of the counter. The killer quickly ran away.
