6 KILLED in ACCIDENT at KM194.1 EAST COAST EXPRESSWAY; CAR RAMS INTO LORRY & CAUGHT FIRE
TRAGIC ACCIDENT IN EAST COAST EXPRESSWAY
Kuantan, Malaysia, May 27 2006: Six people including TWO CHILDREN were killed when the car they were traveling ramed into a slow moving lorry laden with goods at KM194.1 near Gambang, Kuantan.
The accident occurred about 2.45pm with the car traveling to KL. On impact to the lorry, the car vehicle caught fire, exploded and the victims were trapped and burned to death. The state Fire & Rescue Department took almost an hour to put out the fire and extricate the bodies. See pics below.
