Multimid's Passing... 7 March 2008
Hi everyone,
I'm sadden to report here that my father who owns this blog has peacefully passed away on the 7th of March 2008. I am the eldest son of my father and if you knew him well, would really appreciate it if you can contact me by e-mail to tell me your relationship or knowledge of him: ebackbone@gmail.com
I'll do my best to update this place as often as possible. Thanks.

Very sorry to hear about your father. He had a great blog-the best pictures and updates-particularly the Altanthuya case.
I really missed this blog and wondered why he stopped posting. Thought he was harrasssed by the authorities. Why don't you post an obit on your father-what he did and what motivated him to write. I hope someone will continue his blog.
His blog was one of my favourites and I would go to it everyday. I stopped after he stopped updating and only tried again today. I wish I could have thanked him for his good work. My best wishes to you and your family.

I have not checked this blog for a while as it had stopped posting and now I know why.
My belated condolences to the family. I used to stop by regularly as your father posted some incredible pictures and made some thought provoking statements. He also posted very regularly, which made stopping by almost a routine for me.
Alas, he is not with us anymore and I hope he finds peace. If you can write an obituary, that would be great. At least, we the anonymous internet surfers can understand this blogger a bit better as he really pushed the boundaries for the past few years before most of the others took off. In a way, he was one of the pioneering batch.

I knew your father tru this blog, he is really good, I use to re post his messages for others to read in my blog and groups. When he stopped posting I knew something bad has happened until I see ur posting of his demise. At that time I just can't write anything as I was so sad. Today I took my courage to write a few words to a friend I knew via this blog. My deepest condolences, may he rest in peace. I hope you will continue this blog for your father was once living here....let him live forever....please continue....

Dear son of Multimid,
I came by to this blog every now and then hoping that someone could tell us something about Multimid. My last visit maybe around August or just before you wrote this post.
This was my favourite blog and I grief the passing of the blogger whom I recognise as a noble person and an honest reporter of events of Malaysian interest. He was almost always there when big things happened, and usually beat the mainstream media at that.
My deepest condolences to the family of Multimid. I wish you could post a picture of your late Dad here so that we can all see how the person we adore really looks like.
I notice you have changed the template of this blog. Though I find it more pleasing to read text on a white background (rather than the black background that your Dad used), but this particular template is markedly slow loading. Maybe you could consider trying a different template.
