The weekend raid was carried out to weed out those under the age of 21 from patronizing entertainment outlets. 54 people below the age of 21 were among the 284 screened in the operation.

According the operation chief DSP Roslan, some of them were given urine test. However, all of them tested negative for drugs in the raid.

All of them were released after their personal particulars were taken down.

After the nightclub raid, police concentrated on the bikers along Jalan P Ramlee and believe these youths were involved in illegal racing.

ABOVE & BELOW: the suspected illegal racers were screened , their bikes checked for valid road tax and licenses

They were screened together with the bikes used as fights often broke out amongst them in that area.. No arrest were made.
