MAHATHIR UNENLIGHTENED Returns; Welcome befitting OPPOSITION LEADER than RETIRED STATESMAN; FULL Transcript (ENGLISH) of his SPEECH at AIRPORT
Tun Dr Mahathir returned unconvinced and unenlightened by the replies from the government and harps back on the old issues and many questions, and it doesn't matter how many answers he gets, he still have more questions for PM Abdullah.
And the problem comes when he starts to ARGUE and FIGHT over philosophical differences in solving the nation’s perceived problems in his eyes. Some questions are very unimportant, and this makes trouble for us. But it doesn't matter because sooner or later all these concerns will fade away.
When other information comes which are more correct and more helpful and policies are changed; he rejects or doubts it because has has ideas or theory that seems contradictory to the new data.
And this is one of the problems we encounter in our lives and in the world that has produced or given birth to many things, such as hatred, discrimination and conflicts between religions, between nations, between neighbors and between people.
What we are witnessing now are two individuals who express their truths and their differences in their truths, and there is NO BENDING. For you do not question your own truths, and therefore they must be absolute and all other individuals must accept them, for your truth is THE truth and another individual’s truth is WRONG, and it is QUESTIONED
We must pay attention to what you do and you pay attention to our emotional communications and to our translations of thoughts, but within our world most individuals do not. Unless there is a shift in consciousness now and move our attention to how we project energy outwardly in interaction with and how it is affecting other individuals conflicts and disputes will continue

Malaysian Ex-PM Mahathir Vows To Keep Fighting Successor ;DOW JONES NEWSWIRES;
Mahathir, 81, returned Saturday from a European vacation to a welcome more befitting an opposition leader than a retired statesman. After he alighted from a private jet, some 600 supporters greeted him with slogans and banners that read "Mahathir, Save Malaysia" and "Mahathir Restore Our Country's Pride."
Many in the crowd, which included former Cabinet appointees and ruling United Malays National Organization party members, wore T-shirts with his picture on the front.
Addressing the crowd, Mahathir said he didn't expect such a reception. He said now that he has rested for 20 days he will continue his fight against Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the man he had hand-picked to lead
"That man is afraid of me," he said. "What is he afraid of? If you think what you did is right then why are you afraid?" he told his cheering supporters. Mahathir, who retired in 2003 after 22 years in office as Malaysia's longest-serving leader, has launched blistering verbal attacks on Abdullah in recent weeks, accusing him of mishandling the economy and national interests. Analysts say he is upset his successor appears to have tarnished his legacy.
"Already the country is not doing well. Already we have lost respect, especially among the developing world," said Mahathir, standing on the back seat of a four-wheel drive vehicle, his head sticking out through the sunroof, outside Subang airport terminal used for chartered and special flights.
Mahathir's chief annoyances include Abdullah's decision to forsake several large projects that he started or proposed, including a bridge between
Mahathir has also suggested that Abdullah's 31-year-old son-in-law and former adviser, Khairy Jamaluddin, is influencing the prime minister. His other main complaint is that Abdullah allegedly broke a promise to maintain his old policies.
Abdullah this past week broke his studied silence over Mahathir's jibes, denying all the accusations. He has also said he is hurt by Mahathir's actions, which analysts fear could destabilize the ruling party and derail the country's economy.
Although the Cabinet has stood firmly behind Abdullah, splits have appeared within the party since Mahathir launched his accusations. Mahathir told his supporters that the fight is not just the result of a difference of opinions. "No! It's about the issues. The issues must be tackled. Show me."
He said he appeared alongside opposition Islamic fundamentalist party politicians at a forum for private groups last month to speak against the government because he had no choice.
"UMNO itself is not giving me an opportunity to speak," he said. "I am sad. If what you are doing is right why are you hiding?" he said.

Tun : I didn't expect that one day I would receive such a (mediocre) welcome. when I was the PM, people welcomed me in such large numbers...I didn't think that nowadays, I will not be allowed to meet people...what is there to be afraid of ?...not that many have come here..
That man is scared of me...not that I can do anything...I can just talk..
When I resigned my premiership...the accolades were overwhelming...praised so high.
When I went to England, couldn't speak to the students...am forbidden to visit Kelantan and speak to the former Assemblymen..
But it is said that I am not to speak to the Opposition...or to the NGO's...but UMNO themselves do not give me even an opportunity to speak to the (Malaysian) people...if what they have done is right (legitimate)...what is there to be scared of?..
I am not asking for much...just answer...answer the questions...I asked to disclose the agreement regarding the plans of Malaysia intending to sell sand (to Singapore)..to allow the fighter jets of
Declassify the letter ( regarding the proposal to sell Malaysian sand to
I say declassify this..the offer from
What is the point of 'declassifying' that?...It's already been declassified...so don't bother!
I am not asking that people gather like this...I just want to speak...give me a chance to speak a bit..
You ( PM Abdullah Badawi) have lots of spokespersons...so many of them...wherever one goes..there's someone to speak (on Abdullah Badawi's behalf )...they (the spokespersons) can just dismiss off this speech of mine ..
So what is there to be scared of?...give me a chance to speak to members of UMNO...there are UMNO members right here...
I went to
Mubarak (Association of ex Assemblymen of Malaysia) who want to meet with me are not allowed to ...there's no 'Barak' @ Blessings already!
It's alright. I just want to say 'Thank you' ...I do not wish to make long speeches..
..only that I ask...do not be too afraid of me ...I do not eat people..
I can be silent too if there are people willing to speak on my behalf...so please tell others to say all kinds of things about me (sarcasm)!
He (Abdullah Badawi) is supposedly silent...won't say anything...
Not that long before ..3 years ago...(he) praised me to the extent that it smoked ( so bloody hot)..nowadays...I can't even meet with UMNO members..I am perplexed..
During Tunku Abdul Rahman's time (the First Prime Minister criticized Tun Dr M) ..he wrote in The Star..he wrote books...said all kinds of things ..supported those out to topple me...I didn't do nothing to Tunku Abdul Rahman..
Datuk Seri Anwar (during Reformasi) could have a gathering of 10,000 people...even that we didn't forbid...this welcoming my return is not allowed...I am saddened..
What is there to hide so much?..if what they have done is right...no need to hide..
expose it...show the deal offered to
Okay..I won't disturb...I know that the Police need to do their work..we shouldn't disturb..we know that being government officers..we need to follow the government's directive..but it's not necessary to make open declarations of support..whatever it is we'll support!...
Reporter's question : Will you (Tun) stop voicing out?
Tun Dr Mahathir : This government is transparent..anyone can say anything ..only thing is that it won't be published in the newspapers...can speak out...but speak just to myself..
Reporter's question : So, Tun will continue (to speak out)?
Tun Dr Mahathir: I think this is a free country...as they say...but Kalimullah (Deputy Executive Group Editor of the New Straits Times) controls …
So, I want to speak..will speak..
Reporter's question : Is this crisis just a difference of opinion with Pak Lah?
Tun Dr Mahathir: This is a question of issues...not a matter of me going to see him , shake hands and everything's settled.
This concerns issues...issues must be overcome..why must you offer to
Oh!..Show Dr.Mahathir's letter ...that I approved the sale of the sand...it's not there in all those 'declassified letters...it's not there that I did approve anything..
Syed Hamid (
Reporter's question : What's your (Tun) main worry if this issue is not overcome?
Tun Dr Mahathir: This nation now is at a situation that is not that good...we have lost our honor..those in developing nations might praise us..
I am not looking for people to thump my back ...

Mahathir's back in town! Pak Lah's migraine returns.
Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamed,
Unlike his successor, Abdullah Badawi, Tun Dr.Mahathir is a man who doesn't pull any punches when it comes to speaking his mind!
Abdullah Badawi , prefers to play the 'grandfatherly role' when it comes to speaking about the current questions being posed to him by his former mentor. From the looks if it, it is now more of Tun Dr.Mahathir turning into his tormentor!
Mahathir Mohamed is someone who doesn't back off from getting what he wants especially when the present Malaysian Government under Abdullah Badawi is dismantling his pet projects el pronto!
From the way I see it, Tun Dr.Mahathir will go on fighting to have Abdullah Badawi's leadership lose it's credibility for the sheer reasons that Abdullah Badawi seems not able to handle his role as Malaysia's Prime Minister with total control and clear vision.
We do acknowledge that people are a bit more able to express their opinions openly and criticize either the government or any other body without fear of the SB beating down their doors and end up in Kamunting.
But we can also see Tun Dr.Mahathir's point in that Malaysia ought to be able to dictate to Singapore regarding it's wishes to get things changed for the better in terms of demolishing it's part of the Johor Causeway at it's own expense to allow the seawater flow through under the proposed bridge and thus restore a better environment for the ecology of Johor's marinelife in the Straits of Johore.
One doesn't have to be a marine scientist to be able to figure out that the Causeway as it is has been blocking the free flow of the sea through the Straits of Johore since it was built.
The bridge would solve that problem once and for all.
Why should Singapore be so bloody calculative and stingy in not co-operating with Malaysia in replacing that old Causeway with a straight bridge that would solve the sea water flow problem and also upgrade the heavy traffic situation there which is creating traffic back up in both sides of the Causeway?
I am also peeved as to why
Tun Dr.Mahathir will never back down from getting Abdullah Badawi to either answer his questions man to man or come up with answers from his own mouth and not from his 'delegation' of yes men in the form of the Cabinet Ministers.
Sabahans and Sarawakians when they leave
Tun Dr. Mahathir said that for 22 long years , he has tried to negotiate with Singapore over such matters but as usual , our neighbour south of Johore is the bastion of Kiasuism, hence the current quagmire with them.
Abdullah Badawi has raised our costs of living by raising the petrol prices. This is what we get for voting the current government in. Mahathir may not be as clean as he himself admitted at the recent 'monologue' at the Century Paradise Club in Taman Melawati last month, but the old man didn't inconvenience us as much as Mr.'Nice Guy' has.
I await Tun Dr.Mahathir's further dramatics and agenda against Abdullah Badawi's leadership.
It is high time , the Malaysian Government proves itself to be a government for the people by the people and not just end up as another dictatorship trying to masquarade as a 'Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang' government.
Actions speak louder than words or rhetoric. Abdullah Badawi has to take the lead now.
The Malaysian people are waiting to see what he has to say and share with us about Tun's questions.
There are still so many outstanding major corruption cases involving some major sharks that have evaded capture all this while.
Will they be caught in the net of the BPR or are they being 'reared' as part and parcel of our Malaysian Government's 'aquaculture projects'?
Fry the anchovies whilst feeding the sharks? Cemerlang betul!
